1. Painterly Paint Pot $17.50
MAC's paint pots are the perfect primer for eyeshadow or liner. The reason why I love the painterly's nude beige color is because it's opaque and conceals any veins or redness on the eyelid. This will make your eyeshadow last ALL day long without creasing. Before paint pots I was using Urban Decay's primer potion but I found that to crease after a long day. Paint pots also come in a variety of colors that will make shadows look more vibrant.
2. Naked Liner Lip Pencil $14.00
Naked Liner is the lightest lip liner I have ever seen. The light neutral color will erase any pigment in your lips. I love making a blank canvas on my lips and getting the true color of the lipstick or gloss. I have used other lip primers but found this pencil to be the most natural looking as well as making my lip product last longer. Make sure to hydrate your lip with balm and the pencil will go on smoothly. You can also use this in your waterline to make eyes appear bigger and more awake. It gives more of a natural look in the waterline compared to using a white pencil.
Lingering is a soft taupeshade that suits many brow colors. Having dark brown eyebrows, I normally dont opt for taupe but in this case its the perfect color for my brows. Some brown shades can overpower the brows making them look unnatural. It can be used to just fill in the sparse spots or to fully define them. The pencil is creamy and glides on smoothly. It has a very small point which is perfect for creating natural hair like strokes.
4. Prep + Prime skin smoother
I love silicone primers but dont like the heavy feeling of it. This primer is silicone based but is still lightweight. The uneven texture on my skin feels smother and it fills in pores. It is great for oily skin because it mattifies but still makes for a smooth foundation application. This also helps my foundation stay on so much longer without any touch ups throughout the day.
